people actually read that post on how to download from Gogobox. XD

Anyway, assuming you've got the downloading software, here's another location to download from:
http://gogobox.com.tw/cheungyee886

You may need to become a member of that person's "box" before you can download. It's easy, and should be located somewhere on the same page.

For anyone who's unsure, yes, those are yaoi in Chinese.

I don't know if there's a protocol that's usually observed when one friends or is friended.

For example, JR adds me. Am I supposed to send a message saying hi to sort of acknowledge it? When I friend someone, should I also drop a note explaining why (although it should be obvious in most cases)? Or at least say hello?

So far, I've done neither. ._.

I hope that's not rude of me as that certainly wasn't my intention.

And yes, I'm such a worrywart. >_<

Pic is unrelated (of course). It's by Nagoya Haruko.

Surprisingly, all these years I've been into yaoi (although I did take a break for a year or two), I've never once listened to a CD drama. ._.

I can't really account for that. Maybe I was already too preoccupied with hard copies (both yaoi and non). Maybe the thought just didn't cross my mind. Mmm, I'm so not going to think about what I've been missing out on. I mean, I can always make up for it now... right?

Anyway, I had my first taste yesterday with Yamane Ayano's "Finder no Hyouteki". I'm only on Track 3 so far.

Filled with expectations as well as worry, I put on my earphones, double clicked on Track 1, and then I immediately switched to the screen with the manga open at Chapter 1.  See, I was kinda worried that everything (except the ecchi scenes) wouldn't make sense to me. Thankfully, it wasn't quite like that.

In fact, it was pretty cool, all in all.

Pardon that bland response; it's a bad habit. I know I really should be waxing lyrical about their voices (Ooh, how sultry... how deliciously obscene... *tilts head up, touches back of hand to forehead, closes eyes and swoons in a most dramatic manner*), and about how I spurted fountains of blood all over the damned screen and keyboard, and how I had to be rushed to the ER for some urgent transfusion to make up for the massive blood loss; it explains why I'm making such slow progress with the tracks.

But yeah, it was cool. I'm not quite sucked in yet (on drama CDs), and I don't wish to be, either. I think this makes a nice complement to reading yaoi but I sure hope it doesn't turn into another addiction. I have my hands full as it is. I'm drowning in yaoi already. Seriously. ;_;

Direct download links (Mediafire links) to various yaoi. Like... more than a hundred volumes. o_O

Recently, I came across this huge database of yaoi. It's on this file-hosting site (provides both free and paying accounts). However, to access it, you need to download their program. Downloading files isn't that fast, but it works well enough for me since I just queue up those files I want and let them run/download away while I do something else. The program doesn't use up much CPU power too.

Follow this tutorial to registering and using the program. After installing, go to these pages:

The second one isn't being updated at all, but the first one still gets updated sometimes.

Anyway, check the boxes for whatever you want to download. Then click on "Download" (with the light blue arrow). Do not click on the "High Speed Download" button since that is for paying customers.

You'd get a popup window. Click on "Download" again (and not the "High Speed Download" button).  That popup should close and the program to commence downloading should open. You'd see the file you want being listed. Now click on "Start" and wait for it to complete.

You may need to click on "Login" when the program opens. If the file isn't showing up on the program, try clicking on "Download" from the start and going through the rest of the steps again.

Also, check out this lovely forum. You get to read scans online or you can download them if RAR files are provided (well, that or download images individually. Depends on what the OP provides).

You can also search for and read yaoi (or other manga) online right here.

Here's another list for reading yaoi (and only yaoi) online. (If you want to save them, it's possible. But it's troublesome as you'd have to save them individually. Unless you download and use AlbumCon.)

And uh, there ya go? That should be enough for a good while. >_>

that I'd be spending time on — updating my completed reading list on Baka-Updates. And possibly giving most of 'em ratings if I'm up to it. >_> What's that you say? I'm a bear of leisure? (Okay, so that wasn't really funny. I know.)

Speaking of which, I just spent some time googling "what's that you say", because for the life of me, I can't figure out if there should be a comma after "that" or not. I can't help it; I'm anal like that. <_< Anyway, I got my answer, based on these three sites:
  • #1 (Watch out! It's a PDF file.)
  • #2
  • #3

Oh god, I resisted for sooo long, and finally, I succumbed and made a LJ account. >_>

And oh, don't mind the name. I'm really harmless, I swear. The name resulted from a joke between a friend and me.

It's almost scary how LJ sneakily connects to your Photobucket.

Look, it's mockin' me, isn't it?
